Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. John Michaels started Norwood Dental Care over 30 years ago. He’s proud of what he has created for both his family and the community. We invite you to learn a little more about Dr. John Michaels below.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Out of high school, Dr. John Michaels was recruited by several colleges for football, but eventually, he decided to go play for Boston College. There, he was a linebacker for four years and majored in chemistry, graduating with honors. After college, he returned to Ohio to attend the Ohio State University Dental School. Upon earning his DDS degree, he returned to Boston to open Norwood Dental Care.
He has completed over 1,000 hours of advanced education in dentistry that spans a wide range of services, from cosmetic dentistry to dental implants and endodontics. This enabled him to provide comprehensive, high-quality dentistry to families in Norwood over the decades of his career in a comfortable, hometown environment.
Outside of the Dental Office,
What Do You Like to Do?
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. John Michaels spending time with his wife and their five children, as well as their two cats and one dog. He also enjoys finding time for his favorite activities, like cross country skiing and biking.
